Operating under BioData.pt, ELIXIR Portugal strengthens collaboration between academia and industry, driving innovation across key sectors such as health, agro-food, and marine sciences.
In 2023, BioData.pt was formally designated as the Portuguese Node of the Federated European Genome-Phenome Archive (FEGA)—a distributed network of repositories designed for the secure sharing of sensitive biomedical research data.
