ELIXIR collaborates closely with key European initiatives, including many of the ESFRI Research Infrastructures and e-Infrastructures. ELIXIR also has an International Strategy that describes the current ELIXIR activities of international relevance, and planned implementation actions to reinforce ELIXIR’s global significance and impact. In this context, the term ‘International’ means ‘beyond Europe’, with ‘Europe’ defined as the countries of the European Research Area (ERA).
