Take the data curation survey

The ELIXIR Data Platform has launched a survey about community data curation. The goal of the survey is to find ways to engage community curators better, and to make community curation more effective and sustainable. The survey will help identify:

  •  curator communities
  •  databases that are key to specific research communities
  •  curator engagement opportunities
  •  the training needs of community curators.

Community curators add metadata to the huge amounts of data produced by life science experiments. This makes it easier for researchers to find the data they need. Making community curation more widespread and effective will increase the amount of data that researchers can find, analyse and compare.

The survey has now closed. It closed on 7 September 2020.

The results of the survey will be published in the Data Platform page once the survey has closed.
