OrthoDB is a comprehensive catalog of evolutionary and functional annotations of orthologs, covering over 22 million genes from over 5000 species of animals, fungi, plants, archaea, bacteria, and viruses. Advanced user and programmatic interfaces allow to browse and query the data. The OrthoDB resource enables the identified users to generate publication-quality comparative genomics charts, as well as to upload, analyze, and interactively explore their own private data from http://orthodb.org.
